If your podcast is already discoverable on Google, it’s likely that Google Podcast already has your podcast listed. If your show is not listed, you should check to see if you’re following the Google guidelines.
You want something? You have a question? Google it! That’s how modern life goes. You want people to find your podcast in Google and take advantage of their two podcast platforms, Google Podcasts and Google Play Music.
It doesn’t take much time, and the chances are, Google Podcasts might have already found your show and added it to their registry. (Oh wow!) Breathe deep, and read on.
Google Podcast is relatively new among other podcast platforms, but an important one. When your show is on Google Podcasts, it is exposed to different Google surfaces and products such as the Google Podcasts App, Google Search on all browsers, Google Search Apps, Google Home, Google Assistant etc.

Google Play Music has not only music but also a large library of podcasts and attracts many podcast listeners. Having your show on Google Search or Google Podcasts does NOT mean it is in Google Play Music. Like other podcast platforms, you have to go and submit your show manually.
(Note: You need to be located in the U.S. or Canada to submit your show to Google Play Music, and Podcasts on Google Play Music are only available to the listeners in the U.S. and Canada.)
